Dietary supplements are regulated differently from drugs
The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed in the same way it approves drugs. Manufacturers and distributors are responsible for ensuring that dietary supplements meet applicable safety, manufacturing and labeling requirements, while FDA oversight also includes post-market enforcement.
A statement such as “manufactured in an FDA-registered facility” does not mean that the FDA approved, endorsed or verified the finished supplement.
When a dietary-supplement manufacturer makes certain structure/function or related claims in product labeling, federal law requires a specific FDA disclaimer to accompany those claims. That product-label requirement belongs to the entity making the claim; Pro Review Metric does not use the disclaimer as a substitute for substantiating its own editorial statements.
How we discuss health-related products
Our reviews may describe how a manufacturer positions a product, what a label states, how ingredients are commonly discussed, and what limitations remain visible. Manufacturer claims are not automatically adopted as Pro Review Metric conclusions.

This disclaimer does not replace product-specific safety context
A site-wide disclaimer cannot resolve the safety questions raised by a particular ingredient, dose, medication interaction or symptom pattern. When a review identifies a material product-specific concern, that limitation should appear in the review itself rather than relying on this page alone.
Likewise, the absence of a warning on a Pro Review Metric page does not establish that a product is safe or appropriate for a particular person. Current labeling and individualized professional guidance remain important when personal risk factors apply.
